Holy Cow, It’s Kamloops!!

Kamloops City, Holy Cow, holy cow, holy cow, it’s Kamloooooooooops!

Well, boy did we ever kick off our tour with a bang this summer.

First stop? Kamloops City. That’s right. You heard us. Kamloops. Heart of the Interior, some say. It also happens to be our hometown. Iain and I both grew up and learned to first play and perform music there. In fact, we used to be in a thrash metal band called, SADISTIC HUMOR, and we shredded up many a stage in the ‘ole Loops including The IOOF Hall, The Legion, The Eagles Hall, The Cell Block Roller Rink to name a few. Those sure were the good old days.

But alas, we have given up metal for something new and very different: Gogo Bonkers.

This summer proved to be our busiest yet and we were very stoked to be able to travel around beautiful BC this summer. My daughter Zohra decided to come with us on our long 3 week run (which is nothing compared to Maria In The Shower-they did an 11 week run) and boy did we ever have a blast. Our first destination was Sturgis North and, as we later discovered, it was also the destination of Pomme de Terrible!!

Anyway, here’s a quick video of us rolling into Kamloops on the first day of our tour. Next stop: Salmon Arm!!
